DUKE

Season ~ early (mid July)
Bush ~Vigorous, erect, open, heavy producer.
Berry ~ Large, light blue, firm, small scar; Flavour is excellent.
Retains its fresh quality longer than other varieties.

SIERRA

Season ~ early/mid(early August)
Bush ~ Upright, vigorous, productive.
Berry ~ Very large, small scar, light blue, firm; flavour good. Fast growing variety.

BLUECROP

Season ~ mid (August)
Bush ~Vigorous, erect, open, very productive.
Fruit cluster ~ Loose.
Berry ~ Large, light blue, firm resistant to cracking, small scar; flavour very good, slightly aromatic.
Fruit can be tart or show “red back” (only half of fruit blue) if picked too early. Plant is easy to grow for home gardens.

BRIGITTA

Season ~ mid (August)
Bush ~ Slightly spreading bush; fast grower; deep green foliage; bronze tinted new growth.
Berry ~ Large, light blue, firm with a crisp texture.
The flavour strikes a perfect balance-sweet yet very slightly tart. Brigitta berries have amazing shelf life. Originates from Australia. This easy to grow hybrid yields one or the highest quality berries available.

RUBEL

Season ~ mid (August)
Bush ~ Moderately vigorous and productive.
Berry ~ Small, firm, small picking scar. Ripens about 2 weeks after Bluecrop.
Heritage variety, extremely high antioxidant levels.

TORO

Season ~ mid (August)
Bush ~ Vigorous, erect, productive.
Berry ~ Very large, firm, light blue, small scar; flavour good.
Ripens in two pickings. Stocky, compact bush variety.

LEGACY

Season ~ late (late August)
Bush ~Vigorous, erect up to 15.2m (6’), slightly spreading.
Berry ~ Medium large, light blue with a robust blueberry flavour.
This bush keeps its leaves through the winter, offering a different look for blueberries in the landscape. Foliage will turn bright orange in colder climates, but here on the West Coast the leaves stay green with lighter fall hues.

DARROW

Season ~ late (late August)
Bush ~Vigorous, erect, consistently productive.
Fruit cluster ~ Medium, loose.
Berry ~ Large-very large, light blue, firm, resistant to cracking, small-medium scar; flavour excellent. Slightly tart.

ELLIOT

Season ~ very late(early September)
Bush ~Vigorous, erect, consistently productive.
Fruit cluster ~ Loose.
Berry ~ Medium, light blue, firm small scar; flavour good, slightly tart.
Fruit must be picked fully ripe.
